I was admitted to Abington Ward following my fall and fracturing my neck and femur. This was a traumatic experience and I was in a lot of pain and spent a night on the Ward prior to my surgery, and one-week post op.
In the days that followed, I was lucky enough to have Andrei as my nurse. I felt he was extremely professional but at the same time, so very kind.
He always explained things and found time to go the extra mile for me. Andrei made me feel that I really mattered. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
I will always remember Andrei for the care and compassion he showed me. To me, he was one in a million. It is such a rare quality to make people feel so important and that they matter and I am forever grateful for this. He made this anxious and uncomfortable experience so much better.
