Andrew Arbanas, RN
I loved having Andrew as my nurse. He always made me feel like I was a priority when he was in my room making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. When I first woke up on that floor Andrew tried to comfort me as I could not talk, and I was having panic attacks. He was always honest with what was going on or going to happen. We developed a very good report. When I was still communicating by writing everything out, I told Andrew the first thing I wanted was a big glass of water and then a root beer. When I was cleared to have it, he made us small root beer floats at midnight. He kept his promise, and I will never forget that. He was one of the first to convince me that I was still a real person, and I would get better. Andrew is a nurse I will never forget. He also treated me with respect and dignity. Thank you, Andrew.
