The amount of effort, detail, and care Andrew showed my mother during her time in the ICU is nothing short of remarkable. His service was exemplary, including the way he ensured not only her core and basic needs were met, but he also went the extra mile to ensure he comforted her. He calmed her fears by educating her and providing additional context, all with a gentle touch. We were disappointed when we moved to another unit, knowing Andrew would be unable to join. This was short-lived as he sought us out in our new unit to check in and reassure us that my mom was in good hands and again calm our nerves. This is what every interaction at a hospital should feel like. He is an example for his peers to follow.
