As a new RN off orientation, Andy quickly has made lasting impressions with many of his patients. One reason for this is that Andy always maintains a professional yet welcoming attitude to all and has the ability to quickly establish a rapport with those encountered.

As healthcare professionals we see and deal with many things, but often to many of our patients, what we feel as "not a big deal", patients see as embarrassing. Andy cared for a patient who had a condition that was very sensitive to her and recognized that immediately. Family shares that "Andy treated her with wonderful sensitivity to her feelings and dignity. He put her at ease with his calm, professional manner. He was always attentive and went out of his way to see that our questions were answered and her needs were met".
