Today I came in to get chemotherapy and it's been a hard three weeks. A lot of difficult emotional life-changing things have been going on, but I already knew that coming to Illinois Masonic would help. I might be battling cancer, but this is my 2nd family. I'm always treated like a person first and not just a patient number. When I came in, Andrew was the first to see me. He sat down and listened to me and was so caring and considerate. Then I saw Adrianne who was my nurse for the day. I've had her before and, as always, she is a joy to be around. She takes time to listen and is such a sweet person. I really want to nominate both of these people as they are wonderful and deserve lots of recognition.
