My husband had a traumatic incident with a lawnmower and severed two fingers. The first day and night of our several day stay at the hospital was unimaginably stressful, emotional, and chaotic. The moment I walked into my husband's recovery room and met Andrew, I knew we were in great hands. He not only helped my husband physically but mentally and emotionally as well. His bedside manner and expertise are a force to be reckoned with. In the long day but short time we had Andrew as his nurse, we could not have been more thankful and pleased that he was the one on our side during such a difficult time in our lives. Nurses everywhere should aspire to be the kind of nurse Andrew is. We will sing his praises for a lifetime.

Andrew - You were the greatest blessing to my husband and our family during our time of need. We wished we could have had you for our entire stay, but your following days off were well deserved. We hope you feel a great sense of pride for the nurse that you are. While we hope we don’t have to see you again under these circumstances, we would immediately feel comforted knowing you are taking care of us. We know a nurse's job is far from easy, but you were made for it and achieve that difficult balance between rigor and grace. Keep up the fantastic work you do.
