My husband arrived on 5F in critical condition. Andrew cared for him the first 2 days at Norton Hospital. Andrew went above and beyond for my husband. Andrew reviewed guidelines for isolation to see if it was possible for him to be removed from isolation in order to see his loved one in his most dire need. Andrew talked to the Infectious Disease doctor and then called the Infection Prevention team and the isolation removal was approved. That was the turning point for my husband and we owe it all to Andrew. In addition, Andrew was kind, compassionate and shared his vast wealth of medical knowledge with us so we could know exactly what was going on. Thank you, Andrew! You are our healthcare hero.
