Andrew, a former U.S. Marine, recently cared for a patient. After learning of their shared military experiences, Andrew and he formed a special bond. The patient, a true war hero, had been awarded a Purple Heart in World War II. Although he, unfortunately, passed away, Andrew visited him and, as a final sign of respect, honored him with a salute. This gesture meant a great deal to the patient's family, especially the patient's son. The patient's son joined us to recognize Andrew for this incredible showing of kindness and patriotism.
