We came to the Neuro ICU from the ED with our dad. Our father had a severe brain bleed. From the moment my sister and I entered the ICU with our dad, Andrew was beyond accommodating. He helped us to understand what was happening and what to expect as the days progressed. When we had confusion over something one of the doctors said, he helped to clarify it. He made sure we had access to our dad at the same time (3 kids, we all could visit together instead of one having to wait). He continuously asked us if we needed anything while also giving our father the care he needed. He was our nurse the first 2 days on the floor and on the 3rd day, he stopped by on his day off to check in on our dad and make sure we were all good after taking our dad off the vent. Our entire experience at Henry Ford Hospital has been great. But Andrew went above and beyond with his care and compassion for my entire family. Thank you, Andrew! You are amazing!
