Our dad came into the hospital with exacerbation of CHF. Andrew was his nurse several days and treated Dad with respect and extreme patience. Dad's dementia caused lots of confusion and things needing to be repeated and explained over and over.
Andrew always answered the call light and family questions in a timely manner. He explained everything that was happening in easy to understand language.
After a difficult meeting with Palliative care, Andrew sensed my mood immediately and hugged me while I cried. It was exactly what I needed right then.
He is compassionate about his profession and we really appreciated having him care for our dad.
