Andrew is one of the clinical coordinators in MSICU at night. He typically doesn't have a direct patient assignment in his role, and therefore, no patients or family members even know the vital role he plays in each patient's care. I want to recognize all of his contributions to every single patient and to the unit as a whole. Andrew has a way of making the entire unit's staff feel at ease when he is there.

His professionalism, knowledge, calm demeanor, sense of humor, and ability to respond to rapid changes in patients' statuses make him an invaluable asset to MSICU. He routinely manages rapid changes in multiple patients' statuses, reaches out to practitioners for orders, and overall is the bedrock that holds the unit together when he is charging. All of the night shift can attest to the value Andrew brings to the unit!
