I would like to commend Andrew for the extraordinary care and compassion he provided during one of the most stressful experiences of my life. The week before coming to CSM, I had a heart catheterization at another facility where they were unable to unblock my artery and place a stent. I was referred to CSM, and by the time I arrived, I was extremely anxious and worried about what would happen if they were unsuccessful again.

From the moment Andrew Strasser greeted us, he made a tremendous difference. He was kind, compassionate, and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, making sure I understood each step and helping to ease my fears. His calm demeanor and genuine concern helped me feel like I was in the best possible hands. Before I was taken for my procedure, Andrew told me he would see me afterward—and he kept his word. Seeing him again after my procedure meant so much to me. It showed that he truly cared about me, not just as a patient, but as a person.

The care I received during and after my heart catheterization was the best I have ever experienced. I have never received poor care at Ascension, but this experience with Andrew exceeded every expectation. His compassion, professionalism, and wonderful sense of humor brought comfort during a time when I needed it most. Andrew exemplifies what nursing is all about. He made me feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for throughout my entire experience. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care he provided and for the positive impact he had on my recovery.
