I was very lucky to have Andrew as my nurse. Without him, I don’t think I’d be as ready and prepared to deal with and achieve victory over these health issues.
I came into the hospital with respiratory failure. After a day and a half in the ICU, I was transferred to a regular room. I had great improvement in the ICU. The first night in my new room was not a good night. Andrew was my nurse that next morning. I was very anxious and worried about how well I would do when I got to go home in a day or two. I was hit with a lot of stuff I would have to change and endure as my norm now.

Andrew really put me at ease with his kindness and helpfulness. Whatever I needed, he helped me with. He went out of his way and would bring stuff I didn’t know I needed, but he was a great help. He spent a lot of time educating me on things I could do to get better. Very practical and specific ways to get through this. I have to mention the kindness he showed me. It was important to know someone cared and believed I could get through this.

It’s my second day with Andrew, and I’ll be discharged in a few hours. I can’t describe the anxiety and fear I felt before Andrew did everything he did to help me. I’m going home confident and with happiness in my heart instead of fear. What a gift. I can’t express how appreciative I am. I have worked in the medical field for 18 years. Someone like Andrew is rare. How well he made sure I had what I needed, not only physically but the emotional need to persevere. He has given me extra information to help me through this at home. I was very lucky to have Andrew as my nurse. Without him, I don’t think I’d be as ready and prepared to deal with and achieve victory over these health issues.
