I’d like to thank my nurse and share my story of why this nurse is so special: When I 1st met Angel, I was in Ft. Leonardwood, MI at basic training for the US Army. My wife and I had just made the difficult decision for me not to leave training early and come see the birth of my son. This was back in 2018, and instead, I was able to watch his birth via face time. Angel’s bubbly personality and dedication were so amazing. She made me feel as though I was right there with my wife as my son arrived. She got me amazing shots of my son and made me feel so close to everything. I felt as though she was family as well. Her caring nature had such an impact that now, 3 years later, my wife and I are having our 5th child and we were able to recognize Angel when we arrived for registration on. Now a Charge Nurse, she was able to remember not just us but our story. That is TRUE dedication, and again she was family to us. She was one of the nurses involved in the birth of my now 2-day-old daughter, and as before, her personality and dedication to the job she loves took control. My wife was locked in as she connected with her doctor and nurse Angel to give life to my baby girl. Angel’s love for what she does is second to none, she cared so much, and if it wasn’t for her, I don’t think my wife and I could've been more comfortable. She had an amazing team on hand and led them with confidence, and treated us like family. She doesn’t just deserve a DAISY, she deserves multiple DAISIES.
