Since the opening of our unit for Oncology, Angel has trained her staff to show compassion, give great care, be respectful, and always work as a team. She has always been hands on with patient care and staff. Anytime there is a problem that arises on the unit, she is readily available to solve it. I can honestly say this is one of the BEST jobs I have had, and it is mainly because of the standards that have been set on our unit. Before our unit opened, Angel sat down with us to explain what was to be expected once we opened. When we have an issue that arises on the unit, Angel is hands-on at solving them. She is a very trustworthy person; you can talk to her about anything, and she keeps it confidential. She makes sure we are working together as a team at all times and that any negativity that brings down the unit is not tolerated. Angel has many years of healthcare experience, and she takes her job very seriously. Patient care is number one in her book. She is simply amazing, and she promotes what healthcare is all about- compassion, healing, and taking care of others.
