She works endlessly to advocate, support and care for her students. Her door is always open whether that is for nursing help or wise counsel.
She taught my Nursing funds lab and Med-Surg 1 class and always made sure we had what we needed to succeed. She’s very kind and always willing to help.

Mrs. Queen is the kindest, most enthusiastic instructor I have had. She really loves to teach and make sure you know what you’re learning is sticking with you and I appreciate that so much about her.

***

She is an amazing professor who always goes above and beyond. She is a constant supporter and encourager!

***

She is a phenomenal teacher. She always cares deeply for her students even if they aren't hers that semester (speaking from experience).

***

This instructor was personally very encouraging during the entirety of both semesters that I had her. She is a ray of sunshine and is an intelligent teacher who explains diseases and terms very well. I think she is a wonderful example of the Bulldog Nurse slogan, "CARES." She puts all of these qualities into action on a daily basis.

***

Mrs. Queen is always so kind to all of her students. She asks for prayer requests and then prays for them in class before taking notes to ensure she remembers them. She answers any and all questions, including the crazy random, and detailed ones. She is detailed on how she responds to students and always fixes any mistakes that may happen. She is a phenomenal teacher and gives the perfect amount of detail to help us understand but not overwhelm us. She is AMAZING.

Mrs. Queen has been one of the greatest blessings in my life since starting school at the Hunt School of Nursing. She is a light for Jesus in this dark world. She works endlessly to advocate, support and care for her students. Her door is always open whether that is for nursing help or wise counsel. She truly is one of a kind and like no other. Thank you, Mrs. Queen, for all you do. You have forever changed my life and career as a nurse!

She goes above and beyond to help her students succeed.

***

Nursing school is so mentally draining, and even though I am very thankful for all of my professors, it has always felt like Mrs. Queen really cares about each of us individually. She greets us all by name and is always so willing to help us succeed. She makes me feel seen and I am very thankful for that.

***

She has opened my eyes to just how much I want to become a nurse. She is an outstanding teacher and provides material to her students in a way that makes it not only easy to learn and understand but also fun and exciting.

Mrs. Queen cares deeply about her students and their success, even beyond her class. She has been an extraordinary professor and mentor along the way.

***

Mrs. Queen is by far the best instructor I have had during my college career. She always told us that she is there for her students 100% and gives us her full support. She is down to earth and such a genuine person which makes her such a great professor. I always felt comfortable going to her for anything I needed help with. She was my Med Surg 1 professor and I cannot count the times I popped my head in her office to ask the simplest question but she was always eager to help me. The world needs more professors like her, the ones who dedicate their time to helping students succeed.

***

I would like to thank Mrs. Queen for encouraging me and helping me to build my confidence as a nursing student. Through every meeting and interaction, I always left with a smile on my face. Mrs. Queen is all for her students. If any of the students do not understand a concept, she takes the time to find a way to explain the concept in a different way that we will understand. Mrs. Queen has truly impacted my journey in nursing school for the best!

Ms. Queen taught my Med-Surg 1 class. It was very challenging and there were times my test scores were discouraging. She was very encouraging and reached out to make sure each of us was not only doing okay in the class but also mentally. Her passion for teaching and love for her students will always be something that I remember!
