Angel Riddle was selected by the Professional Development Council as the DAISY winner for May. She was nominated based on a letter written by a patient’s family member. The letter stated the following:
I want to take time to thank Angel Riddle for helping me and my father thru this difficult and painful time. Angel has shown the care and respect for my father and me. Without hesitation, Angel has shown genuine care and attention to my father’s needs. Angel should be recognized for her dedication and be admired by her colleagues and is an example of excellence and professionalism. She has truly touched our hearts. We are so grateful to have Angel as my dad’s nurse.
