Leaving my son in the hospital was not easy, however, Angel helped my son feel at ease.
My son was admitted very late in the evening when Angel was on shift. From the moment we entered the floor she made him feel very comfortable. It was already quite late, after midnight, and I had to go home for my other son. Leaving my son in the hospital was not easy, however, she helped my son feel at ease.
In the morning Jackie took over and she was amazing. She constantly checked on him and when there was an issue (rapid response) she was there leading the team front and center. She answered all our questions and the care was outstanding. The other nurses and staff were also incredible to my son while he was admitted. The nurses, Doctors, and staff all gave him caring, personal attention that stood above any other hospital. Their care and concern were genuine.
Working for BH is not just a job for them, that was evident. They sincerely wanted to make a difference, and they did, in my son's care. The two women who sat at the registration desk were caring beyond words. One time I had to leave and go to the family waiting area and cry. While there one of the nurses/staff came to sit with me. They did not have to do that. The care given on the 4th Floor N Tower by all the staff was incredible. They all made a scary situation more manageable. Thank you to everyone who cared for my son. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you.
