I am very grateful I got to meet Angie. She has helped us through an absolutely terrible time and made it seem effortless.
Although the circumstances could have been better when meeting Angie for the first time, we are glad to have met her all the same. When we arrived at the birth center knowing already that our Rainbow Baby had passed, we were not expecting to be met with anything but sadness and avoidance by the staff, as losing a full-term baby feels like the ultimate failure. From the moment we met Angie, she never once made us feel like we weren't being listened to or valued as much as the other moms and their babies on the floor due to the nature of our presence. She really is one of a kind.

My wife and I were expecting our first child here. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, she was born stillborn. Angie went out of her way at every occasion to make us feel at home, even checking to see how I was doing was shocking to see in healthcare. It was clear to see the passion she had for her job, and I am very grateful I got to meet Angie. She has helped us through an absolutely terrible time and made it seem effortless. As a combat veteran, I am not a fan of US healthcare and have experienced a lot. Angie should be an example of what nurses should be like across the country.
