Angie exemplifies what it means to be caring and compassionate. She is modest and always to the point, but when it comes to caring for people who really need support she is always there to help them out. She goes above and beyond the requirements of her job to be sure that her patients feel at home. This includes coming in on her days off to give a patient a shower, bringing a patient's laundry to her house to be sure they have something to wear other than a gown, and coming in to have a lobster roll lunch with a patient because she knew it was his favorite meal. The list goes on and on. I can honestly say that this nomination comes not only from me but from our entire staff. Angie Chapman reminds us on a daily basis of why we all became nurses in the first place.
