March 2022 Honoree
Angela Court, RN
Angela was amazing with my dad. He came into the ED on a Sunday. He has had a year of hospital stays and procedures. He had high blood sugar and gross hematuria. Angela wasn't even an ED nurse but came where she was needed. She is truly our angel. She was very attentive - juggling multiple patients waiting for rooms. Dad needed constant bladder flushing due to clots blocking the flow of urine and blood in the catheter. Angela constantly cleaned him up and changed the bedding that would be extremely wet and soiled. She advocated on his behalf of him and my mother and me with transport to Sayre and back for a procedure and lack of beds. She voiced he needed to be on a floor to have a bed to return to after transport from Sayre. Somebody listened! Thank you, Angela, for your dedication to your patients and profession. We need more care providers like you.
Thank you, Angela, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
