Angela Downer, RN

Throughout the last sixteen years, Angela has supported me to become as independent as possible in managing my complex care needs and always made the effort to come and see me when I was in hospital, bringing an abundance of joy and professionalism and making me smile.

Angela was always there to hold my hand when I was scared and explain things in an easy to understand way. The DAISY Award is an amazing tribute to say thank you to Angela for all she has done for me and the difference this has made to my early life which has supported me into adulthood.
