When I was first here, I felt so vulnerable that I sobbed in showers to drown my whimpers. Angela was able to help me get to a point where I was actually able to relate to her. In the past, no other nurse made me feel so human.
Mental illness is difficult to cope with, but Angela can put it in to terms that I can understand so easily. As pathetic as I felt, I felt like I could open up in ways that I wouldn't before with others. She operates like you're her dear friend and you just need help getting back on your feet.
She's helpful, smart, funny, but most of all, she possesses an unending, pure empathy. Angela is the most genuine person I've seen in this profession. She's actually interested in your story and your recovery. She can make me smile, even when I'm unsure of myself.
When I leave here, one person I'll really miss is her; the nurse who made me feel worthy of her care. I'm eternally grateful for her words. Angela's care gave me my world back.

Thank you, Angela, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
