Angela was recognized by an assistant nurse manager for her willingness to go the extra mile for her patients in a transport situation in which she worked collaboratively with another crew to accompany and care for a critical patient en route to Westchester Medical Center.
Angela's actions went above and beyond the expectations of the STAT critical care transport nurse. These actions allowed the patient to receive the highest level of care for transport while recognizing the time-sensitive nature of the patient's condition.
