Angela has been the Chair of the Council for Nursing Excellence and Research for the past two years and has changed the impact that nursing research has on patient outcomes. She has been dedicated to to bringing awareness to the challenges of caring for the sleep apnea patient and brought about changes in the protocal with standardized procedures for nursing interventions. Angela has also been very agressively applying and recieving grants for various nursing projects. She is dedicated to improving patient outcomes at Hoag and elevating nursing research to the forefront of nursing at Hoag Hospital.
