Angie did so much to help me physically as I battled to recover from multiple complications after surgery. She also was supportive emotionally and spiritually. She helped me through some very difficult and dark times. She encouraged me to press on through the pain. Angie set goals for me and helped me to achieve those goals. Even when she was assigned to another patient or even another unit, she would stop by my room to let me know I was on her mind. If it weren’t for her coaching, encouragement, and genuine heartfelt care, I’m not sure I would have made it through the dark times. I could tell she truly loves being a nurse and cares deeply about her patients. I will forever be so grateful for her kindness and support during my recovery. She was a true blessing to me, and I will never forget her.
