I have known Angela for some time. My initial experience with Angela was when she worked in transport. She was always upbeat, professional, and had very positive interactions with patients. My first and only experience with her as an RN was when my father was admitted on 6W. She did not know that her patient was my dad. I happened to walk in on her explaining medications and his planned surgery for the next day. It was so comforting to me to see such a kind, positive, and compassionate experience for my dad as I had just lost my mom 6 weeks prior to him entering the hospital. Angela's kind positive and concerning bedside manner was not just for my dad or me, it was for everyone she encountered. I heard it and saw it with the patient in the next bed and in the hallway as she encountered patients, families, and co-workers. JCMC is lucky to have a nurse like Angela.
