Angie discovered some paperwork on the PACU desk for a patient already discharged that day after a port placement. She called the patient in the evening to see if they were still awake. After her shift finished that night she personally delivered the important papers to the patient. After seeing the patient was very nervous, she went into the house and inspected the incision and reassured the patient that everything was just as it was supposed to be. Angie really went out of her way as this was not even her patient that day.
