Angie took care of my husband. He was having open-heart surgery with Dr. Topalidas. My husband is extremely hard of hearing, and Angie was able to communicate with him efficiently without any problems. She spoke slowly, not too loudly, and enunciated clearly so he could understand her. My husband and the entire family were very anxious about the surgery, but Angie was so calm and reassuring. My son and daughter-in-law were in the cafeteria while Angie was there, and she even bought their breakfast.

Periodically, throughout the surgery, she checked on all of us to see if we needed anything and kept us updated on how the surgery was progressing. While we were in the waiting room, Angie kept coming out checking on her other patients’ families too. She was so kind and thoughtful to everyone. A few days after my husband’s surgery, Angie came over to SICU to check on my husband and me. We truly appreciated everything Angie did for us. She was a gem! Keep up the great work, Angie, and thanks again.
