Angela made me feel that I mattered and that there was someone there who was as concerned for my well-being as I was.
I have been a patient at Billings Clinic Heart and Vascular for several years now. All the staff, including the providers, excel at giving patients what they need. One person, Angela Lovato, stands out among the others as an exceptional caregiver. I first met Angela in September of 2019 and then again in December of 2020. Both times I needed to have stents placed for coronary artery disease. This was a frightening time. I was filled with worry about the condition of my heart and about all the things that could go wrong with my procedure. I had a ton of questions, and I think that most people would have gotten frustrated by the need to answer my questions over and over. Angela was there to patiently and professionally answer all of my questions. She made me feel that I mattered and that there was someone there who was as concerned for my well-being as I was. She was patient and kind. She was with me the entire time from preparation, all the way through the procedure, and finally to recovery. In short, she made everything ok. When I returned for a second procedure, I was praying that Angela would be there again. I trusted her and felt that she created a bond with me. As soon as I saw her I was relieved and knew that she would take care of everything. Angela is important to me and a true DAISY Nurse.
