I never felt as grateful and encouraged as I did with Angie's care.
I went into the Southwest ER on a Sunday morning after being notified I had a miscarriage a few days prior at another ER in fear of being septic. My nurse came in and efficiently got some blood samples and a blanket and showed genuine compassion for me. Once my results came back, they were all good and clearly showed I was just starting to have a nervous breakdown, not actually physically ill. She didn't make me feel like I was being overdramatic or crazy at all. Instead, she just assured me things were looking good and came to comfort me about some of my concerns. Her kindness and compassion changed the entire dynamic of the experience and made me feel so cared for. I cannot thank her enough for her kind spirit and words that truly encouraged me through such a traumatic time. She was a fantastic nurse, and I am so grateful she was the one to take care of me through it. I have never felt the need to write a caregiver before. I never felt as grateful and encouraged as I did with Angie's care. Thank you again; you will never understand how much it meant to me during such a difficult time.
