Angie goes way above and beyond. She is constantly looking for ways to make my battle a little easier.
Angela McNair is not only competent and knowledgeable, she is also empathetic and compassionate. She regularly came up with tips on how to get through certain portions of my treatment. Such as mouth sore rinses that were more effective at relieving pain and pre loading Claritin and Pepcid the night before the Neulasta, which was amazing. Her help is invaluable, and she is very skilled and gifted in cancer/chemo care.
But more than this, Angie goes way above and beyond. She is constantly looking for ways to make my battle a little easier. She was willing to appropriately share some of herself during treatments, to become a friend as well as a member of the medical team. After finding out I was a fan, we bonded over the School of Mines football team, and she went to a great deal of effort to give me a signed team ball from her son, one of the quarterbacks. This was such a delight and an honor, it helped my outlook on life and treatment. Her rock solid skills and down to earth, yet caring approach made this difficult time easier to bear.

I would like to give praise to Angie's keen observation and deep caring. This journey is grueling and beyond difficult for both patient and caregiver. Angie not only gave immaculate care, but kept a watch on me as I came and went. On more than one occasion, she pulled me aside, drew me out, and kindly held me while I fell apart from exhaustion and stress. She was a rock and an anchor during this hideous battle. She was an indispensable member of the team. Against monumental odds, he is in remission, and Angie was a major part of this victory.
