When I went to the CVT Unit from the ER I had a special nurse, Angela Ritter, and I'll never forget her. I was in so much pain and she gave me medicine right away. When I dozed, I could still hear her voice telling me "it's going to be alright." When it didn't help and the pain was so bad, she tried to talk me through it. She promised she'd keep trying, and she kept her promise. She called the doctor, and she got me more pain medicine. She treated me like I was someone special and it feels good to know someone cares. She could have shut the door and gone down the hall, but she stayed with me and kept coming back. I only knew her for one night but for that time I was important. Please tell Angela I said Thank You from the lady who was crying in pain. I want her to feel special because she is to me.
