Angela has colored pictures, fed cereal, comforted, read books, done whatever she could to make our daughter know that she is loved and cared for.
We brought our two-year-old daughter to the Emergency Room at Dell Children's Hospital because she had two black eyes and a large lump on her head. When the doctor came in and explained to us what they found on her scans I had never heard the term Neuroblastoma. Those first days in the hospital are pretty much a blur. I remember a lot of crying, praying and worrying. It has been a few months into our treatment plan and I am blessed to be able to say that I truly believe that we are receiving the best care possible at Dell Children's Hospital. Each nurse has made an everlasting impact on our lives. However, there is one nurse who has gone above her nursing duties and she has become our family. Angela has colored pictures, fed cereal, comforted, read books, done whatever she could to make our daughter know that she is loved and cared for. In fact, my daughter will tell you that if she has a choice between Daddy and Angela she chooses Angela. That is special. That takes time, love, and patience. Dell Children's and our family are lucky to have her. Thank you, Angela!
