Today I rounded on a long-term stay patient. He told me that he has had some very good nurses. He even provided me with his list of good nurses but Angela was his "best". He told me she stands out above the rest because he was here for so long and needed to send a payment to the IRS before a certain date or he would receive a $200.00 fine. He said he asked 2 other nurses, but they were unable to help him, until last night when his nurse was Angela Strasser. She put his mind at ease and volunteered to (after her shift) get a money order made for him and help him send it out. The patient said he is so very grateful for Angela.
I know Angela and can say from my own experience that she is a caring person and an excellent nurse. She is smart, honest and a good resource for us all. Thank you, Angela, for your compassion.
