Our family experienced one of the most difficult days we’ve ever had to face as we said goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Our loved one was admitted by a very friendly, helpful RN by the name of Angela. Angela was working the final day of our loved one’s life. She provided care to our loved one and also provided support and comfort for all of us as we said goodbye. She showed our loved one the same compassion, tenderness, and love as a close family member would and did so with such extraordinary grace. We will never forget how she gently stroked her hair and softly spoke to her as she administered medication to help her be more comfortable and peaceful. After we said our final goodbye, Angela cried with us as she consoled us and told us she was honored to help us through this tremendously painful time. Angela is an exceptional RN who is very deserving of the DAISY Award.

Our family owes her a debt of gratitude for being so caring to our beloved wife and mother. As heartbreaking as our loss is to us, we are grateful to know that Angela is there to help others through the same difficult time in the journey of life.
