The minute Angela walked into our room she was already organizing all the IV lines on the IV pole.  Throughout the day she kept us informed of my husband’s condition.

One day during my husband’s hospital stay, his temperature went up to 106 degrees.  Angela immediately jumped into action in administering all the help.  Then, she decided to call the Rapid Response Team.

Angela advocated for us while she and the nurse assistant went to work on my husband.

Angela took over with her knowledge and passion and fought to get my husband into the ICU.  Every time a doctor arrived she rapidly repeated the events and why she thought the correct action was taken.  

The Rapid Response Team had been working on my husband for three hours while Angela was with us the whole time.  The other nurses rallied and took care of Angela’s other patients.  

Angela was not afraid to speak up for us and fight for us, always questioning while maintaining professionalism.  She looked out for us.  She held my husband’s hand while being in the thick of the problem.  It’s everything a patient would desire.  She saved my husband!!
