One of our young patients has been in the hospital for over two months, and because of that she had to miss her high-school graduation. Angie Vasa went above and beyond to help coordinate plans to make her graduation as memorable as possible. Not only did she find a cap and gown in the patient's school colors, she also had a graduation cake made, assisted with decorating our conference room, and sat with the patient during the live streaming of the school graduation. Angie always takes wonderful care of her patients, but she truly provided extraordinary care in this instance. She is a great example to all the staff at the hospital, and deserves recognition for all of her hard work and dedication to excellence.
