Angela Walden

As a nursing program faculty member, I would like to recognize the incredible person, healthcare worker, and student that Angela is. She exemplifies the commitment, compassion, connection, and enthusiasm for which the nursing profession is known. Her work ethic is outstanding, and she perseveres in the face of daunting personal and family challenges that would have caused others to quit. She is a leader in her class/cohort and leads with humility and hard work, doing so in addition to her nursing program work, her family commitments, and her job. She connects to her patients, her classmates, and to nursing faculty with empathy and compassion and brings energy and healing to every situation. Her grades and work are at the top of her class. She is an outstanding communicator who brings clarity and efficiency to her interactions. She is 100% dependable and punctual with her assignments, attendance, and her clinical rotations. It has been an inspiration to me as a nurse educator to work with Angela. Working with her has motivated and energized me in my profession as a nurse AND as an educator.
