Angela should receive this award because she is constant. She was always pleasant and firm. She was informative and it is clear that she loves what she does. Every day she came in with a big smile and left the same way. I can truly say that Angela is prepared and beyond qualified as a nurse. I was very sick and I could not have made it without her. She was kind and caring and gave out lots of hugs just when I needed them. One day I had a meltdown just before 8 people came to visit. She could tell I was not in the mood for this visit. She eloquently and professionally removed them from the room without hurting their feelings and wrapped her arms around me and assured me that things would get better. As I walked the halls of the hospital, I saw Angela exude the same personable traits to other patients and her co-workers. I even heard a co-worker say that when they became a nurse they wanted to be just like Angela! She is an extraordinary nurse!
