Every time I woke up and saw Angie's name on my board as my nurse I knew I was going to have a great day. I've been here 43 days now and I am set for discharge in 5 days. If she saw I was feeling down on myself, she would tell me something good about myself and make me feel better. Not only is she a great nurse she is an amazing person.
I'm a father and haven't seen my 2 children in a full year and I'm going into treatment because of my addiction problems. But my ex-wife is bringing them to see me before I go. Angie knows how excited I am about seeing them and without asking she grabbed me and took me to the gift shop to buy my 2 boys some gifts so I had something to give them for Christmas. She knew I had no money and did that out of the goodness of her heart. Angie went above and beyond for me and my family.
