Angela Woods was nominated by a family member who identified herself as an oncology nurse and wrote: "Because I am a part of the nursing profession, I understand the effort that goes into caring for patients."
Angela was given high accolades for going far above and beyond the expectations of routine nursing care by not only caring for the Veteran, but for his family as well. The Veteran that she cared for suffered from a hearing loss and the family was extremely grateful for the extra time spent with instructions and the "compassionate quality care" that was provided to him.
Congratulations, Angela and thank you for being a true asset to BVAMC and a role model deserving of emulation.
