Angie was very thorough, professional, compassionate, positive, and caring. I do not think I would have received any better care if I were her own mother.
I was in for a heart Ablation procedure and had some unexpected complications. I was moved to the Cardiac ICU for several days and although I was well taken care of by everyone, there was one nurse who really stood out above all the others. Her name is Angie, she was exceptional. She made me feel safe, explaining everything so that I could understand it in my condition to help put my mind at ease. Angie was on duty Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. She was very thoughtful about my personal hygiene, one of the first things she did after taking my vital signs was to get me washed and put into a fresh gown. I can't describe how wonderful that felt after being in the same gown for 2 days. She had a urine sample sent down as I had a slight temperature and minor stinging with urination resulting in a positive UTI infection which was treated and the issue resolved. Angie was very thorough, professional, compassionate, positive, and caring. I do not think I would have received any better care if I were her own mother. Angie was genuinely happy that I had recovered enough to be released on Sunday. She is an angel and a wonderful ambassador for your hospital.
