Angelica's journey with Mountainside Hospital began as a dedicated unit clerk. Balancing full-time work and rigorous studies, she worked tirelessly to achieve her goal of becoming a nurse—a testament to her determination and resilience.

Four years ago, Angelica joined the Nurse Residency Program in the Maternal Child Health Department. Though initially interested in Labor and Delivery, she found her true passion in the Mother-Baby unit, where her compassion and dedication to patients thrived. Her commitment to learning and growth led her to recently transition into the NICU/Newborn Nursery, where she continues to provide exceptional care.

Angelica's kindness and empathy consistently earn praise from patients and are frequently highlighted in surveys. Providers recognize her for her unwavering dedication to patient care and her collaborative approach with the healthcare team. Her colleagues admire her as a dependable and enthusiastic team player who consistently elevates the standard of care.
