It is Thanksgiving today, and I had to have surgery on my spine, and I’m most grateful for my nurse. This is my 2nd time with her and my 2nd day this time, and just knowing that I have her until Saturday post-op is most comforting. Angelica and I just click; when I push my "call bell" button, she brings me what I need before I even have to tell her what it is. It takes a "special" kind of person to be a nurse, or the kind who did it for the money, and she's that "special" kind of person. She just gets me, and I appreciate her punctuality when needed, and she's here in minutes. I've had a lot of nurses, and she's my #1.
