Angelica is a phenomenal nurse, especially for the Pediatric Cardiac ICU. She is a caring and compassionate person who loves children. She took tremendous care of C and immediately recognized when he was about to have an issue. She came to work prepared and created an organized environment that made us feel comfortable. One day Angelica prevented C from going into cardiac arrest because of her diligence and communication with the doctors. She was loving to our child and always gave us peace of mind knowing she was his nurse. My husband says nursing attracts a certain type of person. A caring, compassionate, selfless person who loves to help others. We know this well because his mom and grandmother are both nurses who fall into this category. Angelica goes above and beyond what she is asked to do an has been an invaluable nurse and friend to our whole family.
