From the first day, Angie showed so much compassion for the pain I was in. She informed me of everything that was going on and encouraged me to walk to help with my recovery. She helped me get out of bed, and as we walked, we chatted up a storm. We would ask each other questions, but she always would make sure I was feeling well and could keep going. After that night, I looked forward to seeing her and our talks in the halls.
As the days went by, I would hear her talking to new patients, and she would genuinely get all of them to open up to her. It wasn’t just a job; she cared for all of us. Even when I didn’t need her help anymore, she would see me walking the halls and would slide in right next to me for a chat. She made my stay more enjoyable and I will never forget her.
