I was hospitalized for one whole week and felt so homesick that I ignored my own health. I just wanted to go home! I was determined to leave, but Angie, who was my nurse for the first time, talked to me. She helped me get the information that I felt I needed. She reached out to the doctor and got me answers right away. Her professionalism, compassion, and understanding of my situation touched me so much. I didn't think anyone cared until we met. There are no words that could express my gratitude for what she has done for me. I am proud to recognize Angie as a DAISY Nurse!
