Saint Mary Corwin received a new product to help with patient comfort and skin care. The product had rolled out on a Monday, and the floor was not stocked with the product the following days. This charge nurse on the floor kept advocating for a patient who had not slept in two nights to get this product. They continually called the supply chain to bring it to the floor and find a place to get it stocked. This charge nurse was willing to try anything to help this patient's comfort and help them sleep. After numerous phone calls, she got the patient's product. The patient was able to get his first night's sleep in a bed instead of a chair during his stay at the hospital because he was finally comfortable with the product. After rounding with a patient, he said he couldn't be happier, and his nurse was a true angel who worked hard to make him comfortable. He said, "Angelina took excellent care of me and was always looking out for me."

I just wanted to acknowledge this nurse's helpfulness, knowledge, and thoroughness as my nurse. Partly because I had a spinal cord injury and found her to be one of the most competent nurses I have ever dealt with.
