From the second we stepped onto the 6th floor, Nurse Angelina was there to meet us at the elevators. It was such a moment of chaos and uncertainly for me and Nurse Angelina was calm, cool, and collected. She treated my daughter with the utmost care and compassion and calmed her fears of being at the hospital. Anything that I asked for, she would bring us within minutes. She truly made a difference in how our first hospitalization would go and set the precedent of the quality of care my daughter would be receiving. Nurse Angelina was also the nurse that discharged us and once again, the care we received by her is superior to other nurses that we have dealt with in the past. Thank you for treating my daughter like she mattered. Thank you for also being there for me, as I navigate through a whole new normal for my daughter. You deserve the DAISY Award!
